No problem finding a site in early December. Here we are on site 23, which we considered the best in the campground because of its proximity to the lake. Date of visit: Dec 2008 |

Sites are a nice mix of sun and shade. Site 1 is a back-in site while in the background is site 1-A, a pull-through with a nice view of the lake. |

Sites 4 and 3 are essentially a double site, good for friends or large family camp-outs. |

At the top of the camp loop road are sites 12 and 13, which most assuredly comprise a double site. |

Up the road past the main camp loop are two large pull-through sites, 27 and 28. They are quite close together, however. |

The standard Georgia parks bathhouse offers free hot showers and has a washer and dryer. |

The campground is located beside the 9-hole golf course. |

This fishing dock was located near our site. With the lake populated with alligators, it's easy to understand the "No Swimming" sign. |
