Key West NAS, FL

The NAS at Key West offers two campgrounds. Sigsbee RV Park on the main base offers full hookups, but is difficult to get into during the winter. Reservations are not accepted, and until a site opens up for you, you are sent over to Trumbo Point, where there is over-flow, dry camping for300 RV's. When a site opens at Sigsbee, you can take it for up to 2 weeks, then you must move back to Trumbo and go back on the list for a Sigsbee site.

We stayed at Trumbo Point during our 5-day visit to Key West. One advantage to Trumbo is its proximity to downtown Key West.

Be prepared for lots of noise - the big boys sure like to run their generators.
