We chose site #80 for its view of the lake and a little shade.

    Date of visit: Mar 2007

We first visited Indian Creek in March of 2008, and were lucky to get one of the best sites, #66. Our stay was about two weeks earlier than last year; you can really see the difference in the foliage.

A view across one of the little inlets to site #87.

The truck is on site 9.

Site 31 in the foreground. In the distance is another loop of sites.

    incrk7
There are a number of pull-through sites, although they are not too level side-to-side. Most are double sites, great if you're with friends.

    incrk8
Located at the end of a peninsula is the one of the best sites in the campground - #62.

    incrk9
Sites 63-66 all offer a nice view of the lake.

This view of sites 81, 80, and 78 gives a good feel for the openness of this loop.

    incrk11
Here are two trailers parked on #79, a double site.

We saw a number of sites where folks have claimed the site, but are not occupying their rig - doesn't seem quite fair to me.

Each camping loop has a bathhouse. The communal showers made me feel I was back in boot camp. At least the water was hot.

    incrk13
There is a small beach in the campground area designated for use of campers only.

    incrk14
Here is the larger beach in the Day Use area.

    incrk15
A great place for boaters, the park offers a boat launch ramp. A number of campers moor their boats right beside their campsite.

    A note from the locals:

They told us that in the summer, sites 1-52 are pretty noisy with the kids at the playground, sites 53-71 are the "party sites", and 72-92 are relatively quiet.
