The campground is operated on an honor-system and does not accept reservations. We arrived before noon and found one empty site, 15. Shortly after we arrived, another RV left, and it wasn't too long before another rig pulled in and claimed it.

    Date of visit: Feb 2012

The RV park is in the southeast quadrant of Riverside Park, a large park with lots of recreational activities, such as ball fields, a Rose Garden, an equestrian center, the Texas Zoo and walking trails.

The Hiller House is a short walk to the north of the RV Park. Built in 1858, it is one of the oldest structures in what was originally known as Spring Creek, now part of the city of Victoria.

During our stay a small circus came to town for a few days and set up a short distance from the RV Park.
