We were met by Host Glen as we pulled into the FAMCAMP at noontime on the last Friday of May. Plenty of sites to choose from; we picked site 1, since it offered a little shade.

Sites 1-7. There are four rows of sites, with 8 in each row.

This half of the campground, sites 1-16, appears to be the older half: the trees are more mature and the hookups are only 30A.

Overall, a nice little campground. Our only downside observation was the length of the grass. But Gary was working on that - the base just needs to get him a bigger mower.

Sites 25 - 32. The host's site, 25, is the first you see as you enter the campground. Sites 17-32 offer 50A hookups.

Sites 17-24. Lots more sun here, although they have planted some young trees which will offer some shade in a few years.

There's a nice little bathhouse in the center of the campground, complete with free hot showers and a small laundromat facility ($.75 per load) .

Several crows were hanging around the tree over our campsite, making quite a raucus ruckus. We finally spotted this owl, at whom the crows were squawking.
