Since we were planning to arrive on a Friday, we had called a day ahead and made a reservation. Turns out it wasn't necessary, as there were plenty of vacant sites, and thus was a waste of the $9 reservation fee. We were originally signed up for site 51, but we were able to move to site 83, which gave us a much better view.
Date of visit: August 2014

Just up the hill from where we were is site 81, which we decided was the best in Loop B because of its view.
A little further up the hill are sites 78 (foreground) and 79. Most of the sites are quite open like these two.
Sites 77 and 75.
Sites 66 and 67 comprise a double site, great for friends or a larger family.
Site 60 is another sunny site, large and private.
There are three walk-in sites; this is 59.
Site 57 is another of the walk-in sites and is the most open of the three.
Sites 55 and 53 (left to right).
Sites 48 (foreground) and 49.
In the closed Loop A are sites 1-12. These are really nothing more than sites in a field, although there are vague roads that make them pull-through sites.
Sites 21-38. It's easy to see why this could be turned into a much nicer area.
There are a number of shaded tent sites in Loop A; this is number 27.
Site 35.
Partway between Loops A and B is this walk-in tent site number as 708. It does not appear on the campground map, so I don't know just who gets to use it.
There is a modern, clean bathhouse near the entrance to the B Loop. It offers free hot showers.
There are several vault toilets scattered through the campground.
There is a small play area where the kids can work off some steam.
For the hardy folks there are several miles of hiking trails in the park.
The most scenic is the Red Head Trail which goes about a mile and a half out along the bluff, with several observation points where one can see the bay.
It probably pays to heed the warning signs.
The view along the Red Head Trail.
Another view of the "empty" Bay of Fundy. It wasn't long, however, before it was full again.
