Since this is a first-come/first-served campground we intentionally planned to arrive early. We figured that being a Sunday folks would be leaving, and sure enough, that was the case. Even some of the prime water-front sites were available. We chose site 3 and after walking up to the Iron Ranger to pay, we sat down to lunch. Our timing was good weather-wise, for shortly after lunch it began to rain. I managed to make my rounds for taking these pictures before the rain settled in for good.

This shows how sites are angled and fairly well separated. Site 2 is in the foreground, with our rig on 3.
There are 7 water-front sites; these are sites 4-6.
Each of the water-front sites has a very nice fenced patio, a pleasant place to sit and relax. Some folks bring boats with them and after launching them, they can tie up along the shore right by their site.
Sites 7-9 are three parallel sites, slightly staggered so that rigs are not right beside each other.
Sites 11-13 are at the edge of the woods across from a grassy area.
If you are looking for a little privacy, site 10 might suit you. as it is off by itself a bit.
Sites 17-21 are located in the center of the campground loop. Like all sites here, these are back-in.
Site 23 on the left, 22 straight ahead and 24 to the right.
Site 1 is the designated handicapped site, located near the bathhouse.
The bathhouse is modern with free hot showers. It has an interesting all-stainless steel interior, even the walls, making it easier to keep clean.
Close to the campground is a day-use area with a boat launching ramp. It's also a pleasant spot to sit and see if you catch any fish.
The day-use area has a number of picnic tables and grills along the shoreline.
There is also a pavilion which can be reserved for special events.
