Earl Park is the name of a small community in western Indiana and its park is Earl Park Town Park - a tad confusing. An interesting little park, obviously well-used for day-use purposes by the locals, it does provide a number of camping sites, most with 20A hookups. Sites are not numbered, but are marked off on the grass with white lines.

Arriving on a Sunday afternoon, we had no problem finding a spot. We opted for the shade of a large tree, since the temperature was in the upper 80's.

Other campers seemed to have the same desire for shade.

Most sites are close to a ballfield -the sites above are along the left-field line, while here are some sites arrayed around the outfield fence. You might lose a windshield here.

But you'd have a great view of a game, such as this one that was being played when we arrived.

The bathhouse is nothing to write home about - pretty basic, but surpisingly it does offer free hot showers.

There are lots of recreational opportunities at the park, including this large playground area.

Nearby are more traditional play things, such as a jungle gym and swings.

There is a tennis court and a separate basketball court; both are lighted.

From western Ohio on across Indiana, we've seen lots of wind turbines. Right beside the Town Park was a group of at least 40 towers.
