Here's a blast from the past: we're in our tent at Camden Hills waaay back in 1969.

These are sites 53 -63, all with water and electric (30/50A) hookups. Just this year the park added water and electric to 40 sites.

As you move up into the wooded part of the campground, you will find a few somewhat open sites, such as this one, 64.

camden6
Three more of the sunnier sites, 91-93.

camden12
More typical of the majority of sites is 40.

camden13
There are a few pull-through sites, which are fairly large and flat. This is site 41.

camden7
The campground has two bathhouses, clean and offering hot showers.

camden14
Don't forget to enjoy some freshly-boiled lobsters.

While at Camden Hills, you really ought to go to the top of Mt Battie, which offers this view of Camden harbor. You can take your vehicle up the toll road, or if you're feeling hearty, hoof it to the summit.
