Here we are on Site #14 - what a view! Things were a bit soggy following a spell of heavy rain, but we had no problems.

This shows how the waterfront sites open to the water. Most have some bushes and trees to provide some privacy between sites.
A just-about perfect site - sun, shade, and the ocean.
A number of sites are located in a large well-mowed field. Although the park welcomes seasonal campers, the waterfront sites are restricted to a maximum stay of 14 days.
Here you have a choice of sun on the left....or shady sites on the right.
These wooded sites would be welcome during a hot spell.
On the back side of the park are some sites overlooking Staples Cove. Some, such as this one, are quite private.
The bathhouse is fairly new and very clean. It offers 6 individual bathrooms, each with sink, toilet, and pay shower.
Located on a peninsula, the park has a nice walking trail all around the campground. At the end of the peninsula, you can see the harbor at Freeport. An aside: a great place to eat is Harraseeket Lobster Pound.
The park has a well-used day-use area with a playground, picnic area with a pavilion, beach and boat launch. The staff is quite friendly and helpful.
