We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon in late March and found lots of empty sites. We selected site 69 right beside the water and decided it was one of the nicest sites in the park.

Near the entrance to the campground is a small loop with 10 sites, numbers 71 to 82.

Sites are generally situated in a nicely-wooded area with large trees, but no undergrowth and with lots of grass - very pleasant setting.

Here are sites 49, 48 and 50.

Site 51.

Sites 7, 6, 5 and 4 are located nearer the road.

Sites 9-11. Just across the road behind them is the Sardis Lake Dam.

Sites 36 and 37.

Sites 24-26.

Closer to the water is site 15. It's across the road from the water, but has an unimpeded view.

Sites 66 and 67 also have a good view of the water across the road.

There is one pull-through site - number 70. It's one of two waterfront sites, 69 being the other.

There are two bathhouses in the campground - both are heated, offer free hot showers and were very clean.

In the center of the campground is a play area for the kids.

The triple wide boat ramp is very popular.

Next to the boat ramp is a small dock with an area for fishing and a few slips for tying up boats.
