No problem getting a very nice site, even tough we had no reservation. We chose site 16, which backed to the lake, with a small island just behind it (complete with a nesting duck).
Date of visit: Mar 2008

All sites offer full hookups: W/E(30/50A) & S. Sites tend to slant down toward the rear, Here we see sites 21 and 19 on the left, 20 on the right.
My impression of the park was that it's a bit dated - upkeep has slipped a bit, and one sees a fair amount of trash about. Although the staff was friendly and courteous, they did not provide any park or CG information when we checked in - I had to go back and ask.

Most of the campground is in a pine grove. In the distance is Loop 2 with sites 30 - 63.
Here are sites 11, 10, 9 and 8. The red truck is on 10.
Near the office is a row of very closely-spaced sites, 87 - 108,, with barely enough room to deploy your slide. They are also a long ways from the bathhouses.
There's a stretch of road along the lake called The Straightaway, where you'll find sites 64 - 84.
Down at the end of The Straightaway are three great sites right on the water, 84 - 86.
Sites 109 - 125 are the newest sites, located in the North End Loop. These have nice level cement pads, but are located a long ways from the nearest bathhouse.
Sites 78 and 77 are located along The Straightaway.
There are three bathhouses: two in Loop 1 and one in Loop. Two of them are heated and offer laundry facilities.
Near our site, 16, was a nice playground and a small beach and swimming area.
A pavilion in Loop 1 provides a gather place for campers, and an informal bocce court.
Within the park there are 16 cabins, such as these. They accomodate 5-6 people each.
Another view of our rig on site 16.
