Check-in at the office was quick and pleasant. The building also houses a laundromat and heated bathhouse, with free hot showers.

We decided on site 3 along the entrance road just before the office. These 20 sites have W/E(30A) hookups. And what a view!

Looking down over the upper loop of the campground one has a great view of Lower Saint Mary Lake.

The restaurant is just a short walk from the campground.

Everywhere you look from the campground, you're greeted with scenes like this.

In 2006, a major wildfire burned 34,000 acres around Saint Marys. The town was evacuated for 5 days, but escaped the flames.
