White Ledge USFS, NH

 White Ledge Campground is a small USFS facility located in the town of Albany, NH, about 6 miles south of Conway on NH Route 16. This is a popular campground for folks interested in climbing Mt Chocorua, with a trail starting right at the campground. There are 28 campsites, with about half suitable for RV's.

There are two loops of campsites. The first loop one sees upon entering the campground features several sites that are more open than most. This is site 2.

Sites 4 and 5 also see some sun.

Proceeding on around the first loop we come to sites 6 and 7. These are walk-to tent sites.

Site 8, located more in the woods, is another of the walk-to tent sites.

Site 10 is a pleasant site with a bridge over a small stream for access.

Sites 12 and 13 are walk-to tent sites.

Site 14 is the first site in the second loop.

Another walk-to tent site, number 19.

Sites 23 and 25 are two of the sites that are quite level and more suitable for RV's.

Site 24 is a nice site....except the highway is right behind it, making it rather noisy. If you enjoy more peace and quiet, I would suggest you avoid sites 21-28, which are all in this same area.

There are three vault toilets in the campground.

The pay station is located at the entrance to the campground. Campers are required to pay within a half-hour of arrival. There is a Campground Host available to assist campers with questions.
