We were here in the fall and had no problem getting a site. The first night we were in the back row, which has only dirt sites. The next day we were able to move to a paved site with a small cabana beside it.

An overall view of the campground. It's located just south of the Main Gate and is near the highway, so there is some road noise.

This is the back row with the dirt sites, 25-36; they do have full hookups, however.

Sites 13-24 are in the second row. Sites in both the first and second row have cement pads and shelters over the picnic tables.

The first row has sites 1-12.

Sites 19-24.

This is site 27 in the back-row - try to avoid it if you can. It is in a low spot and following a night of rain the water was several inches deep.

There are two small bathhouses - very nice and clean with free hot showers.

The two bathhouses are right across the road from each other. This one has the larger laundry room, with three washers and three dryers - $1.00 a load.

Holloman was home to the F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter from 1992 to 2008. Now the F-22 is based here. Other aircraft that have been based here over the years are also on display
