We had called for a reservation the morning of the day we planned to arrive. No problem, and there were several sites from which to choose. We selected site 2.

Sites 9-16 are the only pull-through sites.

Sites 7-19.

A lot of trees have been planted that will provide some nice shade in a few years.

Sites 22-20.

About the only amenity lacking here is a picnic table at each site.

Sites 25-30.

Open fires are prohibited, but charcoal or gas grills may be used on the concrete pads.

As you pull into the campground the office is on the left. Laurie in the office obviously enjoys her job working with folks and was very friendly and helpful.

Needless to say, being a new RV park, the bathhouse is quite modern. It is kept very clean, is heated and also houses a laundry room with two washers and two dryers ($1.50 each). Showers are in private, individual bathrooms.

Just a short walk from the RV park is a small boat launch, good for getting smaller boats, canoes and kayak into the river.

Every now and then one comes across an interesting rig. Here is one of them. I talked with the owner, who said he and his wife built it in two months.
