Plenty of space when we arrived on a Tuesday afternoon. Site A-9 suited us, as it was the most open of all the sites. Not much sun today, though.

    Date of visit: May 2008

All the sites are quite similar - fairly large, private, and shaded. This is site A-4.

There are a few sites that "sorta" offer a view of the ocean through the trees, such as A-46.

    blanco10
Site A-16 was another fairly open site, and larger than most.

There are 4 cabins that can be rented. Each has electricity and heat, and is equipped with a bed and two bunks.

There is a modern bathhouse located in the center of the camp loop - it offers free hot showers.

One of our goals of our trip up the coast is visiting lighthouses, so we were drawn to the Cape Blanco lighthouse. It's just a short distance from the campground.
