Knowing that we would be here the weekend before Thanksgiving, we decided that it might be wise to make a reservation. Site 12, near the ICW, was available.
Date of visit: Nov 2010

Sites are arranged in a sunny loop with lots of space between them. There are a few trees here and there for a little shade in warmer weather. The red truck is on Site 14.
On our previous visit here in 2006 we were on site #1 for 4 nights. Piece of cake setting up the satellite dish!
Some of the RV stes at the south end of the loop, #10 to the left, #11 on the right. Each site has an electric hookup, and several water spigots are centrally located. You might need 2-3 lengths of hose to reach to your rig.
There are 5 tent sites located along the ICW.
Another view of the spacious sites, with #8 in the left foreground. The dump station is just behind me near the south end of the loop.
The empty site on the left is #3, beside it in the middle distance is #2, and the distant trailer with dark truck is on #1.
The bathhouse offers hot showers. The hot water is a bit finicky and often needs adjustment by the Camp Host or Ranger. On our most recent visit in 2010 the water was barely tepid and it was obvious the bathhouse does not get a daily good cleaning.
This shows how close to the ICW the sites are. A great place to sit and watch the sea-going yachts from one's land yacht.
Among the boats passing by are ragheads....
 ...and stinkpots.
The ICW with the campground off to the right.
There is a nicely-shaded group of picnic tables in the day-use area.
For fisherman, there's a nice pier.
A triple lane boat launch makes it easy for boaters to enjoy the surrounding waterways.
Marsh grass across the ICW at sunset.
