This is a county facility which offers a great place to camp right beside the waters of Lake Balmorhea. Although we didn't stay here this time, we would certainly consider doing so the next time we're in this part of Texas.

There is very little in the way of amenities here: no electric hookups, no water, no toilets, no dump station. If you're in a tent, you'll need to have a porta-potty with you. There are picnic tables, fire rings and trash barrels, however.

Sites are all right along the water's edge.

We did not see any signs with fee information about camping.
