Entering the campground, you pass this old wagon; in the distance is the modern camp office building where you check in.

We called a few days before our planned visit and were fortunate to get a site for three nights. It's a popular spot, being so close to San Antonio. We were assigned to site 2.

All 68 sites in the campground are quite open - setting up a satellite dish is no problem at all. Not much shade for those hot summer days.

Sites are are all large, level pull-throughs, with a good amount of space between each.

Just above the RV's you can make out a passing train. Although many folks have complained about the noise of passing trains, it didn't bother us at all.
