We had made a reservation, and upon arrival, we were assigned site 8. The campground sits on a height of land at about 1300 feet above sea level. It was a warm afternoon for March - 92 degrees, but there was a strong wind blowing and of course no humidity.

Most sites are back-ins, and there are a few pull-throughs. About half the 31 sites have W/E(30A) hookups, and there is a dump station. This is site 19.

    semcanyon07
    Sites 23, 24, and 22.

    semcanyon08
Site 28 would probably be my pick for the best - well away from other sites and with a fantastic view.

    semcanyon11
Some of the sites are fairly short.

    semcanyon13
Each site has a covered picnic shelter and fireplace. This shows some of the tent sites.

    semcanyon14
You can see almost forever - the view from site 28. The mountans in the distance are well into Mexico.

    semcanyon05
A small but clean bathhouse offers hot showers (with common dressing area).

    semcanyon18
Not sure what this sweet-smelling tree is, but it abounds throughout the campground.

    Sunset.
