Lucerne Campground

Lucerne CG is one of several on the west side of Flaming Gorge NRA operated by the Flaming Gorge Corp under contract to the US Forest Service. It's located on a peninsula of the reservoir right at the WY-UT state line. It's a large open campground with 8 camping loops, 4 of which are being totally renovated and updated. There is a marina adjacent to the CG with a small convenience store.

As one drives in from WY Hwy 530, this is the first view one gets of the campground area.

We arrived at noon on a Monday, and although only loop remained open, there was only one other camper there. Site E-10 offered a nice view of the reservoir. Each site has a fire ring, raised grill and a shade cabana.
