    Sea Mist FAMCAMP, VA

    The Sea Mist FAMCAMP at Dam Neck, located in Virginia Beach, VA, offers 24 full hookup (E/W/S) sites right beside the beach. There's a good mix of open and shaded sites. The park underwent a major expansion a few years after our visit, so these notes apply only to the older section.

    Note that use is restricted for military personnel only.

    We had pretty heavy rain the night we stopped at Sea Mist, which left some pretty massive puddles along the CG road. Thank goodness for the level cement pads. That's us on the left in Site #7.

    If you plan to make a reservation, you might want to verify whether the site you get is a "double" one. Fine for two families vacationing together, this arrangement could put you closer to your neighbor than you would like.
