    Grand Teton NP - Gros Ventre CG, WY

    Gros Ventre Campground is located in the southern section of Grand Teton Nstional Park, about 12 miles north of Jackson, WY. The CG is situated along the Gros Ventre River in a grove of aspens and cottonwoods - a very pleasant setting. You can choose a sunny or a shady site, or one with a little of both.

    As you pull into the campground, the first thing you see is the small office. After hours there is a self-registration system.

    We were assigned to site 111 in the B loop, a pleasant site with some sun for our solar panels, yet some shade to the side to sit in. As you can see, we were here at a great time of year foliage-wise.

    Some major improvements are being made to two loops in the campground. Ten new ADA sites with hookups are being built in D loop. Loop E is being similarly renovated for NPS employees.

    Each loop contains a simple bathhouse with cold water sinks and toilets.
