Hat Rack

Simple is good! I had spent considerable time planning various hat-holders: wooden arms, small bungy cords, etc. The other day while I was standing there pondering the situation, I happened to notice a couple of single, over-the-door plastic hooks hanging on the shelf edge. Hmmm, just the ticket. I drilled a couple of holes in one and screwed it in place. The hat stays put and can be quickly lifted off the hook. Not only can I easily grab the hat as I exit, but it is also up out of the way where it won't get so covered with cat hairs....and we have a cat with white fur.
