Leaving Sault Ste Marie, MI, for Sault Ste Marie, Ont, we headed up over the International Bridge. That's the top of the railroad lift bridge to the left.
	We also passed over the American locks, which we had visited a couple of days earlier.
In the middle of the St Mary's River are the remains of the rapids which prompted the construction of the locks.
	For a second we thought this plane was actually coming in to land, but it turns out to be a display at the Bushplane Museum.
48 hours later wa have traversed Ont, from SSM to North Bay, down to Ottawa, and on to the border at Cornwall NY.

It was a short drive across northern New York to Rouses Point. Here we came across a reminder of the rural nature of this part of the state.
	Our last night of our incredible journey ended at Allis State Park in Vermont, where a gorgeous sunset over the Green Mountains provided a great final picture.
