German Federal Railway
In September of 1993, I was chosen to participate in an Officer Exchange Program sponsored by the US Department of Defense and the German military. In June that year, I had hosted a high-ranking German Weather Officer; in the fall he became my host as I spent nearly three weeks in Germany. Knowing of my interest in trains, he arranged for most our travels to various German military bases to be via railroad. Here are some of the pictures I took.
