We had a hard time deciding whether to spend the night here or at Beachside State Park, a mile north. After visiting each, we decided we liked the openness of some of the sites here. We even passed on the two sites with hookups that were open, instead choosing site 10 for its sun and ocean view.

Back-in site 16 is one of the few with hookups.
Site 19 also has hookups. We almost chose it, but then we realized we'd be looking at a solid wall of RV's parked nose-to-tail across the road, totally blocking the view of the water.
This is what the view is like from site 19. These are sites 29-31.
One section of the CG was closed, but had a similar parking arrangement, with these sites, 41, 43, and 44, blocking the view for anyone on the other side of the road.
The inland side of the loop has sites such as 35 that are quite shaded.
There are three modern bathhouses - no showers, though.
Near our site were steps down to the beach.
 Looking south along the beach.
