The city of Colquitt, GA, operates a very tidy little RV park at the west edge of town, a perfect place for visitors to spend a night or several while in the area. It's particularly convenient for those without a toad, for it's within walking distance of the downtown area. We did not stay here,, but only because it was quite early in the day and we wanted to get a little further up the road. We would definitely plan to stay here in the future. Colquitt is to be commended for providing such a nice facility.

The campground consists of a small loop off the north side of the highway. The sites are numbered from 1 to 7 going counter-clockwise around the loop. In the center is a bulletin board with information about the park and the town, along with a self-pay station.

Site 1, a pull-through, is on the right, beyond are sites 2 and 3; the RV in the background is site 3.

Sites 5, 4,and 3 are the farthest from the highway; each is a back-in site.

Site 6 on the right is a pull-through site. Each site has full hookups: water, electric and sewer.

Looking back toward the road, our rig is parked beside site 7, a back-in site. The large paved area right in front as well as another one in front of where we are parked are available for use as overflow overnight parking if all 7 sites are occupied.
