The RV campground at NAS Corpus Christi is called Marvin Shields Park and is located in the northeast corner of the base on the shore of the bay. It offers 64 sunny sites, all with full hookups. Nearby are 28 additional sites in an area that was formerly a mobile home park. The RV park is open to civilians with an MWR Guest Card.

We had called a week earlier to make a resevation; upon arrival we were assigned site 31, one of the smaller sites. We were very fortunate, however, to have a shelter over our table - it was the only one in the park!

The Mens and Womens bathhouses are on this side of the building; on the other is a large laundry room with free machines. The facility was clean and water was hot
